Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

My granddad used to farm some land that my grandma inherited. Thighs went south when my dad was a teenager and they ended up getting rid of all the land over a period of few years. I wonder how thighs would be now if we had kept it. All I can do now is watch these videos and admire the rigs.

It’s crazy, growing up playing AA here in Michigan, there was an ice rink in southern Michigan called The Onyx and it was always one of my favorite rinks to play at lol. You and your family are a $10-$15 million dollar operation not including the land you own. You are asking people who are poor to donate to a cause that you are promoting. Stop asking the poor to give when you have more than enough money/ resources to contribute to your cause. Ask your folks to give $5k. Take the money from your youtube and podcasts and give it to them cause you are requesting money for. Do you people not have any shame. Do you realize how poor millions of Americans are right now without work because of Covid. We are not all raised with a silver spoon in our mouth.

Hello Mr. Millennial Farmer! Do you happen to know where in Sweden your ancestors came from? I live pretty far up north in Sweden, and from this area, a lot of people left for America in the mid to late 1800's. Many of them went to Chicago and from there onwards to Minnesota and North Dakota.

This has always been the case. The children learn early to later take over the farm. This is what has kept agriculture going for many centuries. I understand very well that you are proud of your son. By the way. Do you know which part of Sweden you came from?

That's right. A broken electric motor is broken. You leave it to someone who can fix it and then it's works again.
ObsessionPC 15 kun oldin
It is actually better on the engine, when you engage the separator at mid idle, it is so much smoother, like a NH. The hydraulic accumulator that dampens the engagement of the separator clutches, in the engine gear case, works much better with more oil and pressure applied to it. It saves your pistons from getting knocked around at idle. John Deere claims, you can engage the separator at any engine speed, but I would not recommend high rpm, because you gain nothing from the hardware, but you certainly speed things up too fast from a stand still. Just never engage the header at anything more than idle, the electromagnetic clutch will last forever on idle.

First I’m not a farmer. Passing on to the next generation is a very powerful feeling. That is a true benefit to farming you don’t get that in many professions. Onyx seems to possibly have a huge plate of things he could do with his life. Shoot second generation UZpostr could be one too 😁. Sweeeet.

Keep up the good "fathering." Can't wait for the next video.
