Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Go for it onyx! It’s hardware that can be repaired if needed. Have dad show you once and you’ll be set. Good to see all members of the family contributing to the family farm.

Maybe its management needs to review their polocies. No proper dolly pads under trailers Wow. (Other utube "a) Getting stuck . Yes farmer i worked for always warned. But one day did it himself. Got caught by a road could not back up air seeder ( i have desined unit to help do just that) Got 4 wheel drive up to the framr. 2 other 4 wheels to get him out. I would stop ( need a wiz anyway "a" go fot a walk. If boots got muddy we got a problem. Had standing stubble from previos crop yr could see the mud. Dont drive into places cant turn out of. Especially with units that cant back up. So question is do you train, discuss or try to prevent thism seems unit Jim was operating could back up even. Out side run noticed a drainage ditch Can not take a partial pass away from the drainage. Working in toward the drain. Seems management is as much to blame. And yes that is really why you didnt fire him And you knew it too Good help is hard to get. AND SOMETIMES hard to keep. We all do mistakes. One farmer advertised for help as "if you think you are smarter than us dont bother applying" So now what is really being said? " unless you are dummer than us dont

We need to get you hooked up with some Unverferth equipment...J&M is also a local company south of where I live (Delphos OH between Van Wert and Lima) and they are also not far from Eldora which you should be familiar with being you race dirt modifieds(track is owned by Tony Stewart)...but I also work for Unverferths as a welder in Delphos(formerly the old KillBros. plant)...I'll have to say something to the bosses about offering you some equipment to try out as well...Delphos makes all the Seed Tenders, all of the Parker ATV sprayers, much of the Blu-Jet equipment line which they just purchased their lines, and many other items!

I know I am not commenting on the right video content, but we wanted to let you know that even very small homesteaders love your videos! We have just a few acres (2)...We have a rabbitry (100+ rabbits), some chickens and grow our own fruit trees and organic vegetables in central Florida...We thank you VERY much for your property boundary marker tip of the PVC pipe and T posts... We have a neighbor who sometimes mows uncomfortably close to our fruit trees and these boundary markers are perfect! We wanted you to know that even little farmers get great information from your content...and yes, we love watching the big tractors and combines too!

Start treating the soil as a valuable asset and stop treating it like dirt. When you ruin soil structure with absurd recreational tillage off course your land turns into a mud pit. Why not let the soil absorb the water instead of having moisture sit on top. It is just embarrassing to see these people ruin the soil and call themselves "farmers". No wonder people hate you for ruining water with all your erosion and synthetics run off.
CaliforniaCheez 5 oy oldin
@Millennial Farmer Naturally. No aetificial ingrediants, poisons or soil destroying tillage. Your family depends on the living soil. You should build it up and cherish it. Please don't abuse it with microbe killing inputs. How about a cover crop mix instead of barren lifeless mud. In your environment you can have something green feeding nature April to November. Cover crops pay for themselves. My grandpa farmed as bad as you back in the 60's. Corn every year and no cover crops. Spray petrochemicals all over your greatest asset. Carbon and SOM are your buggest allies. It is an ecosystem not a chem lab.
